blogging at grad school

Loyal readers (all six of you) might have noticed that I'm posting far less often than I used to. In the last few months, I've moved across the country and started grad school in public policy at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin. I've had lots of stuff to write about, but not much time to do it. I spend the summer in what they call "Camp LBJ" learning the stuff that I need to know in order to start school, and then classes actually began. Now that I'm actually taking courses, it looks like the time crunch is going to continue for a good long while. Regular posts are unlikely to appear anytime soon.

But I like keeping up the site. In this respect, having virtually no readers turns out to be a bit of a luxury. If there were any real concern about keeping up the appearance of reliability or professionalism, I'd probably have to shut the site down. But there's not. So I'm just going to keep posting whenever I can. Those who are interested but don't want to keep randomly checking the site can subscribe or like the site's Facebook page to be notified of new posts whenever they arrive.

In the meantime, thanks for reading.
